Barney Kenny – Ep. #7 – The Dustbowl Children – Weissenborn Player

This week my guest is the U.K. based Weissenborn player Barney Kenny.

Barney takes what is normally a quiet mellow instrument, and puts it right at the forefront of his rock band “The Dustbowl Children”. Adding overdrive, wha-pedal, and other effects he is redefining the sound of the traditional Weissenborn style hollow neck guitar.

I’ll also being playing tracks of their newly released EP called “Hollow Lands”.
